I'm thinking that the early voting is largely by those who want to ensure their in-person ballot gets properly entered and counted. These won't get mixed up with the flood of mail-in ballots that many believe will be 'mishandled, miscounted or misplaced.' In short, many Americans simply don't trust this year's unverifiable mail-in ballot scheme.

Maybe it's to make sure Trump stays in.

I voted early and part of my thought is exactly what jghorton above says.

Liberals: “Your vote doesn’t count, the electoral college is a fraud.”

Also Liberals: “We voted early! Never Trump!”

The system hasn't changed. You need to vote to elect a President. What's your point?

For one, he lied about seriousness of covid. He admitted it on tape. He actively campaigned against governors that enacted mitigation measures for their states, encouraged governors to defy mask mandates against the CDC. How he behaved during a time of national crisis was laid bare for all to see. There are those who will ignore this or find an excuse for this behavior, but the vast majority of Americans will not forgive this. Survey after survey show over 2/3 of Americans disapprove of Trump’s management of the pandemic.

This is a referendum election. We will highlight how Trump failed and what a responsible response would look like under Biden. No more lying, no more divisive rhetoric, no more gaslighting the media.

Trump vs Media is tired, trollish, and boring. People are more interested in a president for the people. People are interested in Biden.

Possibly...who knows for sure until after the election...we shall see soon enough. I do know that Covid is the most important issue for most and non mask wearing super spreader's lack of a Coronavirus plan is going to bite him bigly.

If Biden wins in a landslide, I dare say the OP is spot on.
