What do you see when you look into his blood shot eyes and his spotted face? Hope? Decency? Justice? Kindness?

I see a political opportunist who could not bring himself to care about anything outside of his own wealth and power. And old man who rather than spend time with his family wants to slap his name on the office of the presidency so he can say he had his due after years of following his party establishment.

The man doesn't think or care, and he does not represent me or America.
With Trump , I see an opportunist who could not bring himself to care about anything outside of his own wealth and power. And old man who to slap his name on the office of the presidency so he can say he can feed his ego, expand his brand and after years of never contributing to the greater good of his community, his state, his country, his world.

A good relationship between the US and China (especially during COVID) would be a great thing for both countries, if not the world. US innovation with Chinese manufacturing.
Not. China will continue to commit more intellectual theft of our designers and then tell the world to take a hike or else. They are already doing this. My neighbors A/C broke down and the company could not get the part because it was made in China. China is not, never has been, and never will be (in the foreseeable future) our friend. They desire world domination....period. It is time to bring much of this manufacturing back to the US and stop letting them steal our technology.

theft and copying of designers were a big issue in the past but has gotten much better recently. they are now innovating in many sectors. just look at huawei and tiktok. trump is trying to ban them because they are leaders in their industries. when tiktok said no to selling their AI IP, trump threw a hissy fit.

all of the following companies are leaders in their respective markets.
DJI - drones, gimbals
huawei - 5G, telecoms, cell phones
xiaomi - household electronics, mobility solutions
tencent - mobile apps/games

how is your neighbors AC parts availability the fault of china?

how do you know their aspirations. you speak of them as if they're a monolith.
what's your source for "them" wanting world domination? a crystal ball?

"Bow to China or else you’ll face the consequences as several American journalists know after being expelled from China last week. That is what an authoritarian regime really looks like. China, who is the world’s biggest polluter, and has a long history of mistreating its minorities, women and gays is constantly being defended by the progressive woke crowd. Do they fail to see the contradiction? Why are they letting them off the hook?"

Manufacturing that once was done in the US. Shipping jobs overseas is a great thing for both countries? Only if you live in China.

that's free market capitalism at work. labor gets sent to the lowest cost provider. if it wasn't china, it would've been some other SEA country. then india next, then africa. that's just how things progress.

and to refute the guy you quoted - the journalists were kicked out for talking **** about china. I don't know how that would come as a shock to anyone since there is no absolute freedom of speech or press in china.

biggest polluter in the world? sure because they have the largest population in the world AND they are the world's manufacturing plant.
on a per capita basis, china is #13. again, that's while producing all the world's ****.
if you were wondering, the US is #4.

Yeah, that is likely what the "That is what an authoritarian regime really looks like." was referring.

That would make Saudi Arabia #1. Too much methane from camels running around the oil fields I guess.
The pie chart gives a more realistic picture of a countries CO2 contribution.

China cares about the environment. Look at all the pretty new colors they change water and air into.

I have a better Idea. a partnership between England, the USA, Canada and Australia and we all agree to block China out of our markets. We do business with Japan and South Korea. Germany can figure something out for themselves. We dont need them.
