I met a retired Republican state senator a year or so ago when I was vacationing down in Cabo with my wife. He has 80+ years old, given 6 months to live due to a cancer diagnosis, and he decided to tell me how things are in Washington. Cliff notes? Every politician is corrupt. EVERY ONE. Every crazy conspiracy theory you've ever heard could be at least partially true. He hands the phone to me and on the other line is a governor friend of his. Super nice guy. married 50 years or something. Asking me what we are doing down in Cabo, how we like it, etc.

I get off the phone and look them both up. There is an audio recording of them plotting to murder someone if their extortion plan fails. This was never reported in the media. Nothing was done. They both lived happily ever after. And one more thing. The media is totally corrupt as well. This deep state thing we hear about is 100% accurate. Funny thing is, I asked him who the most corrupt and without hesitation he said Barbara Bush. Her and GHW were the worst. Again, he was a Republican. BTW, Ronnie was the best by a mile.

So what does this have to do with Trump? He came into office as a total outsider and blew the whistle on it all. The fake news. The deep state. The corrupt CIA and FBI. Trump basically blew up the charade that is the USA. And these forces are going to get payback.

If Trump wouldn't have come along and screwed things up, we'd all still be living a fantasy while the country continued its slow but steady decline into oblivion.

This entire mess is Trump's fault.

It's global, not just the US. Trump drove a bulldozer through them all.

OP, you should probably just go back to sleep. It sounds like you are having difficulty grasping with reality as it is.

Actually all that deep state corrupt gov info was going around the internet long before Trump got to Washington (where do you think he got it from?).

Trump has exposed it like no other president, yes. And fired up conspiracy groups like QAnon. Some in QAnon think he is the anonymous Q leader!

Trump has successfully hyped up the election as: Free America vrs Socialism. And that only Trump stands in the way of Socialism. True or false? Trump vrs everyone in Washington, including all the R's?

Trump could have had Obamacare repealed when he had the house and senate. Senate failed by 1 vote. That should not have happened. Most R's on his side though.

The problem with Trump to me is that his approach to clean out the swamp is too crude with his tweeting attacks, etc. I don't call that leadership. The corrupt swamp is still alive and well after all his tweeting attacks. If we want gov cleaned up, we'd have to start with the Treasury Dept which authorizes debt notes as money- the 'fake' Federal Reserve, the fake 16th ammendent, fake Income Tax, etc. The US gov went bankrupt in the 1930's and made a deal with global banks. Imagine just cleaning that mess up.

So if you were able to look up the audio about the murder plot, care to share a link? The story sounds like a tall tale if there is no evidence to back up the claims. What was the name of the state senator and the governor that you are referring to?

I also don't buy the "savior Trump" angle. Trump's corruption goes all the way back to the days when he was dealing with the New York mafia to build his skyscrapers. He was one of the few developers constructing them of cast-in-place concrete rather than steel, which is more expensive labor-wise and more time consuming to erect. Guess who controlled the concrete industry in New York in the 80's? The mafia, specifically the Salerno and Castellano families. There is FBI wiretap audio from back in the day of one of the mob bosses, I think it was Fat Tony, talking about Trump and Fat Tony's concrete business. Trump also used Roy Cohn as his personal lawyer back then, who was also the lawyer for several of the New York bosses. Where do you think Trump learned all his bullying tactics from?

Trump has his own personal swamp and baggage. He's not saving this country from itself; he's using it to enrich himself and his family. He is a leech.
