Not really surprised, Trump is the most punk president in the history of the nation by far.

Rotten has stated the opposite, that the woke left are now the conformity, and that they demand you follow their rules, and that those who don't are labelled stupid or ignorant. Hillary Clinton even labelled them a "Basket of deplorables", which is something the establishment could well have said about Punk itself.

The masses have more in common with an outsider than they do with the liberal establishment, and the police are increasingly a tool to enforce the woke agenda.

It's the woke left liberal elite that has more in common with corporate America, hence the numerous woke corporate campaigns and backing of the billionaire elite and celebrity elite.

The ordinary masses in the US are not represented by the liberal elite, antifa, BLM or political correctness, indeed PC culture is the very polar opposite of punk and what it stood for.

I suggest you watch the recent John Lydon interview I posted in my previous post.

I think today they call them the alt-Right.
The Pistols weren't exactly right wing and nor were the other major punk bands, most of whom were a lot more successful than the Dead Kennedys.

The Clash wrote the sing The Prisoner, about being a prisoner to political ideology, and Strummer was of the opinion that the left just meant a new set of elites with their own power and privilege.

Wait a minute you consider yourself some sort of a debunker and push so much extreme nonsense as seen in this thread?

A debunker has to be fairly objective, you are as objective as Big Brother in 1984.
