Well whites don’t have a history of being pulled by ropes by slave chasers on horses in America...
This is very bad look for those officers. It’s like their mindset got lost on their way back from the 1850s.
Yes, white people do have a history of being pulled by ropes by police officers in this country as they were being taken back to a booking location after being arrested by police on horseback. That you don't want to acknowledge this doesn't change this fact.
In any case, so what? The officers today never owned slaves, were not around during Jim Crow, etc. It is racist to compare them to people in the past on account of race.
Neither do blacks. There's not a single person alive that has a history of this happening to them. Unless it happened in Uganda, or some other place besides America. That stuff doesn't happen here. Only criminals being detained and the lack of a vehicle to keep them from escaping. That's what is happening here. No other agenda.
Show us one news report of a white prisoner getting similar treatment.
We’ll wait.

So you should be able to find a recent/current example with no trouble.
Let’s see it.

Do raceophiles nowadays REALLY think that white people have never been mistreated in the past? Read some history, if you know how to read, that doesn't involve the CSA or southern United States. There is a whole world out there full of people of all colors who have mistreated people of all colors.
Some of my WHITE ancestors were run out of their homes, their state, their homes burned down, their friends and family jailed and abused, their leaders jailed and shot, and an EXTERMINATION ORDER issued by the state governor to have them all killed. Because of their religion. Is that any better than because of their skin color?
And do you think I hold a grudge now against that state, it's officials, and its current residents? No. I'm not that stupid. I don't blame distant past atrocities perpetrated by dead people on the present or the living.
Wait a minute. The article states that the cops should have known that the image would be seen as a slave being led by Police.. I see an alleged criminal MAN being led by the Police after being arrested for a crime and being taken to face justice.
Is this really much different than a suspect being stuffed into the back of a Police car?
I guess the Police should learn from this moving forward that it is not ok to arrest a suspect IF that suspect is black.
The Democrats sure are working over time to protect Illegal aliens and now Black people from arrest and prosecution for their crimes.

You're actually thinking it's newsworthy when a white person is led around with a rope by cops on horseback? LOL, no it isn't. If it were done to a white person then those seeing it would just point and laugh.
Just because there may not be any news stories about them doing the same to a white person does not mean it hasn't happened. Most likely it did happen. This comment was stated by a police official ..

"not used correctly inthis instance"<bbm> .. may mean, it shouldn't have been used on a black person.

Hale said that the officers were "familiar with Mister Neely" and that Neely "had been warned against trespassing upon this specific location several times.
Maybe Mr. Neely shouldn't have ignored the warnings. If people are going to give him a pass because he's mentally ill, then, where was his sister and why didn't she make sure her brother stayed out of trouble.

The apology, however, reportedly did not satisfy Neely’s sister, who told KTRK that she was upset when she saw the image. She said that her brother is mentally ill and homeless.
Oh look, the sister didn't care about her brother, who was living on the streets and mentally ill.. until there's a possibility of a million dollar windfall. smh.
