Biden doesn't need a parade, these people have too much time on their hands. I always wonder about people that attend meaningless political rallies for either side, seems like there is something missing in their lives and it won't effect the polls either way.

Not exactly. I have been there. Most of the segregation is on the part of the tourists, but I spent a lot of time with the locals, talking with them, having meals with them, etc. Nobody bothered us. Cubans are not allowed in the nice hotels, so for the tourists that stick to the hotel, pool, tours, beaches, etc, might not get a whole lot of interaction, but the Cuban people are very friendly and love to talk to Americans. The talks often end with them asking if you have any extra toothpaste, deodorant, or blue jeans you can spare. I went with Cuban American friends, so we brought bags full of sample-sized toiletries to give out to them, which to them, is gold. you want to make some kid's year? Bring deflated soccer balls and give them to the kids there. The looks on their faces is like they have never seen a soccer ball close up before.

That is not to say that if a government official sees them talking to you for an extended period of time, that they are not going to question the Cuban citizen about what you were talking about, after you leave, of course. That kind of stuff goes on all the time there. But it typically doesn't lead to an arrest or anything that might discourage them from talking to you. Getting questioned by the authorities is a normal thing for them.

You are right about the tourist dollars though. They have extreme punishments for messing with tourists. Their economy is heavily reliant on tourism.

Hmm, somehow I don't think you'd say the same about illegal aliens for Biden in California.

That would be "affect", but I digress. I swore I was reading a post from 2016. Keep hoping.

You called it failed policy. It was and is not.

Checked channel 7 news. Nothing on 40k autos stopping traffic anywhere. Miami is a grid. That many cars would make a huge traffic jam unless on 27th.
