As for Nancy, I think she should let it go. She doesn't have the votes BEFORE the election, and hopefully the election will remove him via the process. Not guaranteed mind you, but there is no chance he'll get removed on the 25thA, so why even try.
If and when he loses, if he doesn't go peacefully, then use any legal method available.

Interesting you say that because yesterday after doing my lengthy recap on the whole Russia hoax in another thread, I remembered I'd talked about how desperate some of the Democrats seemed during particular periods in previous years - and I wondered if those periods were tied to uncovering everything. I'm guessing they were, so this could be more smokescreen given the recent release of classified documents.

Its weird though, I dont think her doing this will affect his election chances or change anything-in fact it might help him, so like you I am a bit curious as to the thinking. I know folks on the right like to make fun of her, but she isnt dumb. She DOES in fact know how to play the game as it were.
