I agree. Green_mariner is just wrong that illegal and legal immigration doesn't hurt blacks as much and probably more than anyone. Not just blue color opportunities but most of those arriving receive affirmative action and compete with and displace blacks in white color opportunities. Plus they increase the population in more urban areas especially raising the cost of living where most blacks also live.
Yep immigration has definitely hurt even in what might be considered more white collar jobs. Ask any IT specialist.
For a not insignificant number of Trump supporters, I would imagine they would prefer the antebellum South way of doing things when it comes to racial minorities.
And for a not insignificant amount of Biden supporters, I would imagine they would prefer the Soviet Russia or the CCP way of doing things when comes to the majority of the population. See how easy that was?

So I have read before that if a plan was followed through like this for a long time, the population of the us will begin to decline in 40 years.
Really that just means companies will be much more likely to invest in the country because they see no growth.
The sun is setting on America being the leader of the world.
So, what's wrong with a population decline and why would we need to address it 40 years before it happens? A smaller population is much healthier for everyone. There are far more things important in life than company growth.

Because most illegal aliens are minorities like themselves. Many blacks want to see the white population diluted in our country. Yet we are the racists?

Obviously the rule of law and why it's in place means nothing to you so you don't care if millions of illegal aliens invade our country? If it were true (but it's not) that illegal immigration only hurts white people then you're ok with that? Illegal immigration hurts all races in this country but then you only care about YOU personally! Despicable! I am so glad that the three blacks friends that I have aren't selfish like that.
It's about time. We have citizens whom we are obligated to assist: our veterans. Add the elderly and disabled to that list as well.
The last thing this country needs to do is import more freeloaders.
I also propose that any individual, state, or foreign country who have the gall to criticize this country for that decision, that they respectfully step up to the plate and sponsor/adopt/offer a pathway of citizenship to these refugees.
Better for who? America was horrible for Black people up to the early 1960s. Why would I want pre-1965 America back?
And is America better NOW for black Americans? I say it isn't. I think its actually WORSE for them. Letting people into the country to fight for what decent jobs there are doesn't help ANY American but especially black Americans.
