I look at Mayor Lightfoot, and I immediately wonder about the people of Chicago (together.) How could they vote for such a person? Especially with the city in complete failure fiscally and socially.
Maybe there were no takers--to run for such a thankless job? It's like having a problem that no solution fixes--other than the city filing for bankruptcy. And there's no way out.
I just feel for the police, firefighters and other city employees that have to put up with such an administration that's totally a failure. Will they ever receive the pensions they've been promised?

1. Elect radicals for Mayor
2. The mayors then start making it very difficult for the police to do their jobs
3. The mayors allow widespread rioting and looting
4. The mayors then start calling in some cities for "defunding the police".
What did anyone with an IQ over 50, think was going to happen?

That it would be a Summer of Love, Peace, Coexist, Tolerence, Kumbya...I don't know if its studpidity, or naivite.
