Why is that ramp so wavy, like going up and down hills?
In the pic with the young female cadet .. where did that solid wall go? There is no solid wall next to the other ramp pictures.
The ramp is not wavy. That's the black curtains that are covering the handrail. The bottom of the curtains are wavy, as the fabric drapes down. The ramp has non-slip treads.
The 2018 female cadet is using the same ramp that was used in 2020. Same non-slip treads. The school re-uses the ramp for each graduation. The ramp is on both sides of the stage. 1200 cadets go UP the ramp to get their diploma, then they go DOWN the ramp on the opposite side.
at saturday's rally in tulsa trump gave a very bizarre and rambling explanation on why he used two hands to take a drink of water and had trouble getting down a ramp. it basically boils down to that his arm was tired from saluting 600 times ( altho he switches gears at the end and also blames trying to protect his silk tie ) and that the ramp was a slippery as an "ice-skating rink". so, i ask the following questions sincerely:
A): does anyone believe that trump saluted cadets 600 times in a row?
B): ... and/or that west point would install a slippery ramp void of grip protection for the POTUS to walk down?
thanks. color me surprised. without counting the entire time i see that west point was expecting 1,000 cadets to be at the ceremony so trump would have saluted 500 times.
Trump looks fine and perfectly healthy to me. That people are spending so much time on him walking carefully down a ramp, is quite frankly, very pathetic and desperate. Keep going, please. It's becoming quite humorous.

The media spent 3 days talking about it, why cant Trump talk about it? I found it an entertaining story.
Imagine showing up at Trump's rally, travelling who knows how far to get there, camping out on the sidewalk waiting to get in, risking your health because we're in the middle of a pandemic....to listen to this drivel about how he saluted 600 times and didn't want to get his silk tie wet, and the ramp was slippery?
And waiting for three days in line for seats, among the other deniers who are too proud to take precautions, only to find out you could have just showed up five minutes before it started, parked your car, and had lower-level seats.
