594 jail deuptiers and inmates sick with Coronavirus and that's who have been in such bad shape that they bother to test and now inmates are dropping dead from lack of healthcare.

Hopefully, the inmates sue NYC and NY. Would be a dream to see them pay big judgements and for them to have to raise taxes for the voters who vote in these jokers as mayor and governor.

The real criminals are Bill Blasio, Cynthia Brann, Andrew Cuomo.

I pray that these each of every one of these inmates gets massive judgements from the NYC and NY and that they have to increase taxes.

Hopefully, these inmates sue and bankrupt NYC and DeBlasio and Cuomo are tried for human rights violations.

A majority of the criminals have nothing on NYC mayor and NY governor when it comes to human rights violations.

According to one inmate " “It’s filthy, we don’t have anything to disinfect, everyone is coughing ... we’re all on Death Row here.” in a statement to the Daily News

So, they committed crimes that landed them in jail, and somehow its DeBlasios fault........

The mind of a Trump loyalist is a mysterious place.

If you don’t want to die maybe you shouldn’t break the law and go to jail. Just a suggestion.

Sooo what is the alternative? Should they have done what they are doing in my state of Mass. with letting low level prisoners go? When you think about it in our liberal times is there such a thing as a low level felon? One has to really screw up or have a very long rap sheet to end up in jail.

What is going to happen to those released prisoners? Many of them have had issues with drugs and alcohol and are prone to violence. They might not have a home to go to which means they are on the street. They might actually be safer in prison.

I think the Gov. in my state would rather release the inmates and risk them going back to their lives of crime then to face an expensive lawsuit if one of them should die in custody. Once again the average tax paying hard working citizen is paying the price.

On another note the Government is setting prisoners free to roam around but if you or I should defy a stay at home order we risk being arrested and tossed in jail? Has the world gone crazy?

Trump supporters pretending to care about convicted prisoners is hilarious. They'll say anything if they can somehow sneak in a jab at democrats, even if it's completely unfounded.

It's both scary and sad. So many of the Trump supporters out there are fueled by hatred and anger.

I am not sure where you come up with the conclusion that the OP is a Trump supporter. I don’t see anywhere in his post stating that he is a trump supporter or anti-trump

So violent criminals die in prison? Too bad, so sad (I feel for any COs infected). What is really stupid is in some jurisdictions violent criminals are being released so they don't get infected-leaving them free to prey on innocent people. The bureaucrats responsible for that stupidity deserve to be held accountable for any crimes those released commit.

It's true that not all people in jail deserve to be.

The US incarcerates far too many people.
