Steyer: We need to get rid of corporations buying our politicians. I bought my own way on stage to tell you this.

This is the debate that NOBODY is talking about. House Democrats have sacrificed all these candidates for their partisan needs. I completely forgot about it.

Here's the most interesting thing about it.

Right-wing street artists add 20-foot 'TRUMP 2020' letters to hillside sign identifying university hosting tonight's Democratic debate in Los Angeles

Anyone remember the GOP debates in the last election? They cracked jokes, insulted each other and compared the size of body parts. Total farce.

This debate was substantive and thoughtful with real policies put forth and reflective of the knowledge and intelligence of the candidates came across. Any one of the people on that stage would make a better president than what we've got now.

Agreed. I think Klobuchar really outperformed this evening. I thought Yang did well too, but he has no realistic chance of getting the nomination. Not sure why he is even in the running.

I thought Sarah Huckabee Sander’s tweet about Biden’ stuttering was pretty disgusting. He’s had a stuttering problem his whole life. Not my first pick but that was low

I thought Biden was mimicing the kid who said to him (stuttering): I I I I I I I can can can cant tttttalk.

That's the way I took it.

I didn't think Joe himself was stuttering.

ETA: Joe basically confirmed it on twitter - that he was talking about a kid having a stuttering problem. I'm not sure it was a good tactic to mimic the poor kid anyway.

Well I have to say, Bernie and Warren did no favors in trying to attract any democrats even slightly to the right of them. Klobuchar was great, quaking hair notwithstanding.

Well I know he had a stuttering problem in the past but like you said whether he was actually stuttering himself is irrelevant. It was a nasty thing for her to say.
