Guess that explains why so many of his properties had undocumented people there. Guess the GOP will continue to turn a blind eye to businesses who hire them.

Businesses are people.

Women are human incubators.

Citizens of other countries are not even people at all.

E-Verify isn't practical but a wall around the US is the solution, interesting.

E-verify, a wall etc. are all easily gotten around.

What isn't easily avoided are fines on the hiring companies.

E-verify and other technology/policy based solutions are only as good as people's/government's willingness to actually use them and enforce their use.

As long as our current laws regarding asylum are allowed to be abused, nothing short of keeping illegals from actually physically setting foot in the country will have much effect.

Enforcement is key, many states including conservative Texas are unwilling to put teeth in the law. They give lip service to preventing immigration and claim sanctuary cities are the issue but the bottom line is they wouldn't be here if they didn't have a job.

I can’t get behind the paywall.

Back in January, Trump said all his properties would use eVerify.

He also claimed they were doing so, during the campaign. Obviously, he was mistaken.

The handful of states with mandatory eVerify laws created intentional loopholes. Most importantly, verification does not apply to contractors and people hired before the effective date of the state law.

Trump lied for three years that he was using E-Verify at his properties, until it was revealed that he was illegally using undocumented workers at ALL his properties all along, until a group of them were suddenly fired because they were being mistreated and were about to expose the fraud? Shocked I tell you, just shocked!

'“I have hired tens of thousands of employees, many Hispanic, over the years. Many, many. They’re fantastic,” Trump said during a campaign rally in 2015. “But I have — and I think, to me, it’s very important — E-Verify.'

Trump Organization did not begin using the system at all of its properties until January 2019 after they were caught breaking the law at most of their properties.

So the President of the United States has been purposely hiring undocumented workers for decades and lying about them, just as he lies about everything else in life.

Now he will try to throw some wrench into that system on why it hasn’t been or can’t be used in the way designed to be.

There is most likely another story coming out that he is trying to blunt or sweep under the rug with his chaos, disinformation and lie MO.

Who knew E-Verify could be so complicated?

Said the man who’s never really actually given a hoot about trying to comply with, you know, laws.
