Your paragraph three. I’ve lost track of how many people have responded to you about your 2006 “gotcha” post and pointed out that the circumstances of the 2006 funding have nothing to do with Trumps wall. Trust me, your 2006 argument is not going to be anymore convincing now then the first time you posted.

You and yours haven't refuted a thing I have said just your mere opinions which are false. My source is not a discredited one it just doesn't fit your pro-illegal agenda and they are not anti-immigration in reasonable numbers they are anti-illegal immigration. There indeed have been those from known terrorist countries slipping in right along with these so-called migrants looking for work. Where do you think the term OTM's came from?

The wall that Trump is proposing is indeed the same one proposed in 2006, same miles, etc. only with the type of barriers that the Border Patrol want this time around. Congress was to build (courtesy of the taxpayer) 700 miles of double barrier on the border but only 30 miles of it was built under Obama. They changed it later to be mere fencing (also courtesy of the taxpayer) which was breachable. You haven't refuted that at all!!! Yes, courtesy of the taxpayer of which you and yours remained silent but keep b*tchig about Mexico paying for it this time around.

You and yours are the ones posting the same stupid crap like a bunch of parrots in here which is why I have to keep coming back and correcting you.

Having said that, my reply to Old Glory said that illegals cost us pennies on the dollar of our tax bill. I did not say that illegals cost us nothing.

In 2006 Dems voted for a fence. Originally it was supposed to be double rows but that was reduced to one row in 2008. The democratic vote was made as a compromise at the time in order to drop legislation from the House that would have made illegals felons.
So in 2006, Dems voted for a well defined barrier that was seen as the the lesser of two evils at the time.

Contrast that to today where we have Trump’s constantly moving target that he said was going to be paid by Mexico. Throw in the fact that Dems will not and should not negotiate with non elected entertainment hosts ( Coulter and Limbaugh) and here we are.

Here’s the kicker, A year ago Trump had an offer from Schumer that gave him everything he wanted including 20 billion for the wall in exchange for DACA and he said no to that.

Wrong, Trump asked for an end to the visa lottery and chain migration and the Democrats wanted to spread the funds over 10 years for the wall. So no, it wasn't what Trump asked for.

It's also a ridiculous claim that Trump allowed any outside forces to make his decisions for him. You have no proof of that whatsoever. Just because someone offers an opinion on something doesn't mean that one makes their decisions based soley on that. You and yours are just grasping at straws on that one.

As for the costs of illegal aliens BOZ pointed out the many ways they do cost us and there is no denying that's the truth. Are you also denying that they take American jobs, reduce wages, overcrowd our schools, jail, hospitals, roads and neighborhoods? It's also a fact that they commit felony ID theft and tax evasion. That's some serious denials there. The bottom line is that they are here in violation of our immigration laws and must be deported accordingly. What part of that don't you get? We must also prevent more from coming here as much as we can and good physical barriers have proven to be effective in that way.

Surrreeee they will.
Paying government workers and getting them back to work is more important than the wall. Many are on the verge of bankruptcy. I heard one worker has a 1.06 in their bank account yesterday. Yet there is no end in sight, even if the President calls a national emergency, it won't reopen the government. He and Republican Senators who voted with the wall are screwing over 5 million Americans.

Yeah, after he chain migrated Melania's family.

It's WAY more ridiculous to assert that Limbaugh's scolding didn't influence tRump's decision to shut down the govt.

The cost of illegal labor should be borne by their employers, not the taxpaying public.

He is used to paying women off - not dealing with them.

I don't care for chain migration.

The first ones who comes over usually has some get up and go. Melania, for example.

The ones they haul over through chain migration, not so much.

Over the years, we've had several neighbors who migrated here from other countries. Within a few years, they are running small businesses, bought homes, ...

However, the brothers, brothers-in-law, uncles, and assorted family members they haul over, not so much.

Currently, in our neighborhood we have a family that was brought over by relatives. It's been over ten years now and not a single one in the family has ever held a full-time job. The father works at the brother-in-law's business off and on. He drives Uber, when the car is running. The wife doesn't work. Their grown kids are no more motivated than the parents.

The wife carries on about how they came over "legally."

Well, hurrah. They are still worthless.

And before long they will be eligible for Social Security and Medicare, just like Melania's parents are.

They are taking up slots from those with more get up and go, those who will contribute to our economy.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to demonize those who have a history of hard work.

This pretty much summarizes the Trump shutdown over the border wall. Pretty embarrassing for the GOP.
