Draining the swamp?
Quote:
One White House aid reportedly tried to “hide out” in Washington, D.C., for six months until he could qualify for a Coast Guard early retirement program. But then the program was pulled from Congress and canceled.

Zachary Fuentes, the White House deputy chief of staff, told colleagues that after his boss and mentor John Kelly left the Trump administration at the end of 2018, he planned to retreat from his role and wait until he could qualify for an early retirement program, all while remaining on the payroll, according to a report by The New York Times.
He contacted someone at Homeland Security who got the ball rollling to get Congress to re implement the early retirement program and it was about to pass quickly when reporters started questioning the move. In all the scandals of the Trump White House, this is way down the totem pole, but it is indicative of just how ruthless and rotten to the core the folks Trump surronded himself are.

WHITE HOUSE STAFFER DEVISED PLAN TO ‘HIDE OUT’ FOR 6 MONTHS WHILE STILL GETTING PAID: REPORT

Another example of the Grifters Own Party, and what they bring us.

It's not just Individual One, corruption goes all up and down the chain of command like a giant tapeworm feasting in our government.

This is the scumbag in question:

During his tenure in the administration, Fuentes has emerged as a polarizing figure. He reportedly earned the nicknames “Zotus” (Zach of the United States) and “prime minister” for the way he treated other White House officials.

Fuentes made headlines earlier this year when he canceled President Trump’s visit to an American military cemetery in France due to rain. Trump’s absence at the memorial immediately drew widespread criticism.

Exactly. You can tell a lot about a man by the people he surrounds himself with. Trump refilled the lagoon with swamp creatures the likes of which we have rarely seen in politics. Each president has some scandals -- some more than others -- but Trump's administration is almost nothing but the worse of government.

I heard this a few days ago, the Dept of Homeland Security was pressuring officials to reinstate the early retirement program that lapsed at years end just so Zach Fuentes and a few others could take advantage. House lawmakers were all set to extend this program until it fell apart, they were supposedly doing this to match the other armed services unfortunately that was a lie. Fuentes was going to hide out somewhere for 6 months somewhere in the government so he could get the early retirement.

This is deserving of an investigation of the GOP House committee that was set to authorize this plan.

I see that McMulvaney is going to find a new home for the poor fella, he would be gone in a normal administration but not this one.
