Who is the "we" with the capability to ever do that, which btw is impractical and unworkable.
If it did happen the "we" capable of doing it should learn from the mistakes of past colonies and multiculturalism and only send one culture to colonize a planet.

Then those not mature enough to look past their differences “because my dna told me to” should stay..
Colonizing would be rough but it’s necessary for our species.
Man will conquer the moon and Mars and beyond but man will never conquer or even tame his desire/want/need to disagree, squabble and fight with his fellow man.
It is like the caravans of migrants fleeing their home countries due to inherent problems in their own societies but given enough of them coming here they will also transport the very same problems they are fleeing from.

as long as there are things to differentiate people..ie race, gender, creed, ethnic/sociological background, SKILL LEVELS, education, luck, born rich/poor, there will be jealousy, distaste and coveting of someone else's gains/losses, like/dislikes, possessions or skills etc
