No, it was more of the "I have a black friend" type. Obama was the unicorn that too many expect all black people to be. He was the TV, like white, cultured, well spoken, not ghetto, not too dark black person.

I mean really. The GOP put Michael Steele as chairman immediately after. If that wasn't a "Hey, we DO accept black people" then you're fooling yourself.

But as the years went on, he started caring too much about black issues. It was "wait now, we elected you, but you're not suppose to stand up for black people or look to care because then you make us all look accepting."

Regardless of WHAT people think about Hillary, 45 is a disgrace. The party of Christianity elected the MOST unChristian human being running. You cannot claim a monopoly over Christianity when you have someone who spits in the face of kindness, humanity, and basic human decency.

If you don't know what that looks like, PLEASE actually open your Bible and stop simply acting like you're a Christian. and saying you're one when you don't debuke evil when you see and hear it.

1 Peter 3:10 - "For, 'Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech."

45 and his flock/too many of you sure aren't living the life, the actually BOOK says to live. Christian? Riiiiiiiiiiight.

The "Christians" that strongly support trump are just like him. They are con men that put self over ethics, the religious aspect is just the way for them to make money. Whats worse is their followers dont see how much more transparent they became.

What I wonder is what will it take for the country to be less divided? Maybe people will come out of the ether when they see a President that actually acts like one and isnt a shameless divider?

Correct. I must have 25 postings about this very item -- but sometimes it takes a while for it to sink in.

Hilary was the worst candidate, for any office, anywhere, that I've ever seen.

Malarky.

Clinton was a decent candidate and would have made a decent POTUS.

Republicans devoted decades to smearing Clinton with bogus hearings and nutball conspiracy theories. Morons believed them.

Then these morons voted for Trump.

Gerrymandering has no effect on presidential elections.

This is true, but yet doesn't completely explain it. I'm still trying to figure out how Trump won the Republican nomination in the first place.

You were tired of “Liar Obama” so you elected the most shameless serial prevaricator in American History.

Makes sense. Not.

Number one reason you did not like Hillary, for president? If a man had her qualifications and background, there would have been no question, she would have been a great leader. Your taste is in your mouth, apparently.

Cheating the electoral system, Comey and the Russian hackers, most likely the reason this stupid a** is president and commander in chief. If he could get his head out of his a**, even he would admit that he is un-qualified for this leadership role.
