Woman claims she was tossed from mall because of her short shorts (generation, suspect)

That's not a good look for her, and to me, it looks very uncomfortable, as well, but if there is a dress code that forbids short shorts at the shops, I have not been able to locate it. The closest thing I found was the statement in the original story, which was quite vague.
If you can get thrown out of places for wearing a red hat, I dont see why anyone would have a problem with throwing people out places for any other article of clothing that the owners dont approve of.
I have seen far worse at our local malls. She should not have been kicked out for it. Everything was technically covered so was, to my understanding, adhered to the dress code.
Yes, the outfit was unattractive, but she's technically an adult (19) and we live in a free country.
I have a daughter, and when she becomes a teen, no, I won't let her out of the house like that; but once she's an adult, it is her prerogative.
You will probably change your tune when you get married and/or have daughters. When I'm out in the mall with my family - especially my wife or daughter - those girls in short shorts really bother me. On one hand, it's only instinctual and hormonal to look and stare so it's a constant fight not to look like a perv in front of my family. A decent dress code helps everyone be comfortable at the mall. The mall is not a nightclub where young people go looking for sex and validation, it's for shopping.
Women and teen girls wear far more revealing things at the beach and swimming pool. Heck, even the lifeguard swimsuits show more skin than a girl in short shorts.
Do you avoid going to the pool so you don't have to constantly fight the urge to perv?
True. While the outfit wasn't my cup of tea, she is actually very pretty, at least in photos published in the Daily Mail article I saw yesterday.
Even if she wasn't the general idea of pretty...................
