According to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court, "it cannot access financial services essential to its operations and is facing “irrecoverable loss and irreparable harm.”
Seems its longtime insurer broke off negotiations this winter and “stated that it was unwilling to renew coverage at any price.”
NRA contends that “multiple banks” have now balked at doing business with it “based on concerns that any involvement with the NRA — even providing the organization with basic depository services — would expose them to regulatory reprisals.”
Seems the lawsuit developed from actions taken by New York financial regulators to halt the sale of an illegal, NRA-branded insurance policy, “Carry Guard,” an NRA policy to reimburse members for legal costs incurred after firing a legal gun.
State of New York found that Carry Guard “unlawfully provided liability insurance to gun owners for certain acts of intentional wrongdoing.”
NRA’s insurance partners agreed to stop selling the Carry Guard policies and paid a $7 million fine.
Now it seems they don't want anything to do with NRA at all.
NRA warns that it is in "grave financial jeopardy," and that it could soon “be unable to exist… or pursue its advocacy mission.”
They act on behalf of the millions of members and gun owners in this country, why would the NRA ever support a Democrat when Democrats openly want to destroy the NRA and eliminate gun rights in this country?

Historically, liberalism has inexorably led to gun bans. Liberals are collectivists who, at the end of the day, do not trust individuals having guns. They trust only the collective (police and military) having guns. See Britain, Australia, Canada, etc.
The NRA has been a bully for way too long. Too powerful, with so many supporters that they were able to get away with anything they wanted, including controlling politicians. This is a new day, and they are now irrelevant . Why we ever needed an organization devoted to guns is beyond me anyway.
Of course you feel this way, because to leftists, only certain civil rights groups should be protected. Those that comport with your world view, not anyone else.
We need the NRA more today than ever before, because leftists ultimate goal is to disarm the public, and trying to destroy the primary advocacy group of the Constitutions 2nd Amendment is their dream.
This is a form of TYRANNY, and censorship to withhold financial services from a Constitutional Amendment advocacy group. It is a way to silence the NRA. What if the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Public and Private Sector Unions, Act Blue, Media Matters, NEA, AFT, etc were withheld the ability to get loans, use electronic financial services, and other necessary services to do their business?
This is a form of TYRANNY, and censorship to withhold financial services from a Constitutional Amendment advocacy group. It is a way to silence the NRA.
