1) The NRA doesn't sell firearms or ammunition, so "y'all buying bullets" won't help.
2) The NRA is one of many lobbying/advocacy groups that operate on behalf of the individual natura right to keep and bear arms. The NRA going away completely would be to 2A advocacy as McDonalds going away would be to fast food. Thy are not the only playerin town, and are seeing loss of membership due to being too liberal and swampy with their lobbying, versus orgs like GOA and NAGR, who are far more active and absolute about individual natural rights.
3) The NRA is not required for either the individual natural right to keep and bear arms, or for the 2nd Amendment that explicitly protects said right. They are simply one of many lobbying/advocacy orgs that reminds Congress that these rights and protections exist. The NRA didn't create the 2A, mischief and tyranny against the 2A created the NRA.
Who do you think funds the NRA? More sales means more contributions from firearms and ammo manufacturers.
The NRA should be apolitical, focusing on gun safety and responsible gun ownership, instead they seem to act as GOP super pac, complete with paid crisis actors like Dana Loesch.
Of course, this could all just be more fear mongering from them to get more donations too, so...
The NRA is as political as evangelicals are. The NRA pretended to be about guns but has become a very strong arm of the Republican party. Evangelicals pretended to be all about church and religion until Trump came along. Then they ripped off the mask and said they don't really care about any of that as long as people vote Republican.
It's funny how liberals think the NRA is pro-natural rights.
The NRA is pro gun sales, Screw everything else - patriotism, ethics, morals, the well being of children, the right to be safe going about your daily routine - everything, as long as they get theirs. Their members are merely useful tools.

1) “the inability to obtain insurance in connection with media liability raises risks that are especially acute; if insurers remain afraid to transact with the NRA, there is a substantial risk that NRATV will be forced to cease operating.†The group also warns it “could be forced to cease circulation of various print publications and magazines.â€
2) “abuses†by Cuomo and the New York State Department of Financial Services “will imminently deprive the NRA of basic bank-depository services … and other financial services essential to the NRA’s corporate existence.†This claim is based on a letter asking financial institutions to heed “the voices of the passionate, courageous, and articulate young people who have experienced this recent horror first hand†— and from the governor himself. In April, Cuomo tweeted: “I urge companies in New York State to revisit any ties they have to the NRA and consider their reputations, and responsibility to the public.â€

If the membership of the NRA agrees, what's the problem?

People who believe in protecting the individual natural right to keep and bear arms, as well as the 2nd Amendment which protects that individual natural right fund the NRA, but they fund a lot of other things too.
That said, one does not need to support the NRA to keep and bear arms. I am not an NRA member and I have several firearms ad plenty of ammunition. NRA has never gotten a dime from me and never will. I support orgs that are far less wishy washy than the NRA. I like my 2nd Amendment advocacy to be absolute, unflinching and binary...just like the 2nd Amendment.
And the gun/ammo manufacturer doesn't need the NRA to help sell their products. David Hogg and Diane Feinstein do more with 1 minute at a podium than the NRA could do in 10 years where sales are concerned.

You are just showing your ignorance about the NRA but that is par for the course. Continue on about something you know nothing about. It's quite entertaining.
