Very true.

Trump Org continues to prefer to commission its products from China, Bangladesh, India and Viet Nam. This includes, clothing, leather goods, jewelry, home furnishings/ decor and more.

I asked three questions, none of which you answered.

Caterpillar is my state’s contribution. CAT has been and remains the world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment and serves 180 countries. Nothing to do with Trump. It employs about 94,000 people of which, 55,000 are outside the US.

CAT opened its first offshore plant in the UK more than 60 years ago and did so to avoid import tariffs and shipping costs.

CAT recently relocated its global corporate office from downstate Peoria to suburban Chicago and did so for two primary reasons, increased ability to attract/ retain millennial talent and proximity to a major international airport. It was a devastating blow to Peoria.

On another note, CAT has slashed its global manufacturing workforce by 16,000 as custom industrial robotics are more productive than the cheapest sources of labor.

So...you are flaunting your ignorance then? Because it's common knowledge that both his and Ivanka's clothing lines are made in Chinese sweatshops.

Or do you just ignore reality when it doesn't fit your narrative?

Don't feel bad if that's the case. Every cultist here is guilty of the same thing.

No doubt they would need a diaper change if Trump products were on display.
What laws? POTUS and VPOTUS are exempt. Invanka is not an employee.

The company that bears her name routinely publishes style alerts to the media showcasing the fine jewelry, attire and leather goods bearing her name/ logo , she is photographed wearing at official functions.

While they put their investments in trust, they are the beneficiaries of those trusts. They are required to make high level financial disclosures each year. The disclosure was not designed for someone with hundreds of global businesses and foreign loans and disclosure ranges are limited.

Invanka made more than $5 million from businesses connected to her brands and nearly $4 million for her share in the DC hotel bearing the family name.

In the 1960’s, 95% of clothing and shoes sold in the US were made in the US. Today, 97% of clothing and 98% of shoes sold in the US are made overseas.

One would think a POTUS with a MAGA slogan would have made certain, all products bearing the family name were Made in America.

One would think a POTUS who is all about jobs for Americans would not use H2B visas to import seasonal workers and move them, property to property, instead of doing whatever it took to hire US people.

Is it too much to expect a POTUS to lead by example?

Trump Org products ( clothing, leather goods, fine and costume jewelry and home furnishings/ goods) are made in Bangladesh, Honduras, Viet Nam, India, Indonesia and China.

So many missed opportunities to lead by example.

My memory is short. What Obama actions regulated companies out of business?

Congress and Trump had an opportunity to require employers to earn tax credits/ cuts by incremental US job creation and training. . Had they done so, it’s likely Amazon would be the winner given they created more new jobs than anyone else. Amazon offers employees up front 95% tuition assistance for in demand skills, whether or not Amazon needs the skills. This benefit predates Trump.

The EO encourages companies to retrain employees at high risk of becoming unemployed. There’s no authority or tax credit behind it. Just a photo op.

Caterpillar, long time world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment reduced their workforce by 16,000. Custom industrial robotics designed to compete with the cheapest sources of global labor are more productive than humans.

Since the 70’s more jobs have been eliminated by direct and indirect technology substitution and industrial robotics than offshoring. The Toys R Us brick and mortar business model could not compete withAmazon. Do you think Toys R Us was in a position to train employees to compete for non- retail jobs?

My state contributed Caterpiller to the PR event. CAT has been the world’s largest manufacturer of construction equipment for decades.

Phony Leftist outrage. Tell me, how much of the economy do you think Trump organization products adds? Something like .00000000001%?

The point is leading by example.
