This is actually true, because the right nowadays are believers in individualism. We prefer to leave decisions to the individual whenever possible. Of course it is not always possible, for example, in the case of national defense.


But this explains a whole range of differences between today's right and left. The right believes in school choice, because we want individuals able to make decisions about their education. The right trusts individuals with guns; the left trusts only police/military with guns. The right wants lower taxes so that individuals can decide what to do with their money; the left wants more money in the hands of the collective (gov't).

Make no mistake, you must be a native AND white to enjoy the full benefits of Nordic countries. Immigrants are still immigrants, blacks are still treated like blacks, Asians are still treated like Asians, etc.
