that's why they can't get drug tested or fired without just cause
matter of fact is a lot of American drug testing companies have lobbied for but could not achieve drug testing policies in China because they have better labor rights than we do in the USA....
Yes, the magic of China. Look up FoxConn or any of the other big manufacturers there. Young people get a job there--and they have to live there. 24/7. No pay. The money--what there is--is sent home to their parents. For quite some time the only way to leave was via suicide.
Another company was looked at recently. In the dormitory, where hundreds/thousands lived, there were toilets and a cold-running faucet. No showers. A young man was interviewed that hadn't had a bath for months--they had to make special arrangements to go elsewhere a few times a year.

What an absolute bonkers post. China is known for a lot of things, but if you spend any time there you will realize this is not based in any reality.
China hasn’t even gotten around to enforcing basic things like taxation and minimum wage. My moms pension is $60 a month after working 30 years at an electronics factory. She retired just a few years ago.
Companies are leaving China because quality control is awful and everyone is trying to steal your product design and build it cheaper. Many companies are closing factories in China because they can’t protect their product design and production.
Labor costs have risen significantly in China the last few decades, but the average Chinese citizen still makes less then the average Mexican, let alone American.
China is essentially a thiefdom nation, and where this isn't the case, major companies have installed netting surrounding the buildings where workers commonly opt to attempt a plummeting suicide. If you believe it's better then by all means indulge in relocation and give me a heads-up so that I can cut the net before you embark upon your final leap of faith.

I had a friend who told me when he was in China for work, some construction crew was building an apartment building and they didn’t use rebar. Could that be true? It really disturbed me thinking that building could collapse on people and could have been easily prevented.
It’s true, plus they have those safety nets on buildings for when the happily employed people jump off of them. They probably got tired of cleaning up the mess.
