Dear OP -- yes, we, with good working brains and who dwell in reality have been clear for decades that those who favor socialism are completely interested in me, me, me. They want the bennies that THEY expect to skim from those programs or policies. It has zero to do with "public fairness".

WE KNOW THAT!

Socialism killed over 100 million people in the 20th century. It is based on violence, coercion, and theft.

Who will look to the same entities that promoted the inequality, to help them.

I wouldn’t say they don’t want to work but they are definitely spoiled. They want to start at the top.

Millenials (and most Americans for that matter) don't really know what socialism actually means. Hint: It doesn't mean "welfare state".

No such thing as wealth inequality. Just a socialist construct to get more of what they didn’t earn but feel entitled to.

Poor wittle cwy babies, you were screwed by Baby Boomers

Demographic changes are going to change America, but we'll be much more like Brazil and Venezuela than northern Europe.

Those benefits you tout for Europe were somewhat paid for by the US in our defense of them for 70 years and now they are headed to bankruptcy by their Baby Boomers

Does it mean a random thug and dictator who owns everything and calls himself "democratic" and "socialist" in propaganda pamphlets to appeal to the workers and masses? Is that socialism? Like a medieval all-powerful king?

Or is socialism that workers have a real say in the workplace as they own the means of production? Do you know any place where workers have actually owned the means of production?

Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico are corrupt third world oligarchies though. A tiny super rich elite having full control over the political system, the masses living in poverty and massive social problems and inequality. Is that where we are heading? What does the Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute think?
