Probably just a hand in making mueller worried as hell.
This is very, very simple. The person who is the subject - likely soon to be a target - of an investigation is the one worried as hell, not the person asking the questions.
It's very clear these questions are focused on a potential obstruction of justice charge.

Mueller is a rock, experienced, dedicated, and smart. It looks like he is getting close to the end of this investigation, and I bet the finale' is going to be a shocker. Can't wait until Donald "Can't keep his mouth shut" Trump gets in front of Mueller !
If he took kickbacks for toting that uranium to Russia, then yeah, he's worried.
Or maybe the leak came from Trump's legal team since they have the questions. Who said Mueller leaked them? And besides, these questions can't damage Trump. He's as pure as the driven snow so should have no qualms about answering them.
This came from Trump lawyers to influence Trump not to testify.

Trump attys leaked this in order to convince him not to testify.
Seems a lot of WH staff use this method to communicate with Trump.
Although I have another possible theory about this leak. Maybe Trump had someone leak it in order to deflect from the story about the Pence's physician reporting to the WH in September about problems with Trump's physician. Maybe Trump wants to bury this story, so he had someone leak the Mueller questions. It worked, because the Mueller questions are the top news story and they are being reported instead of discussions about the Jackson/Karen Pence MD problems.
It doesn't make sense for either side to release the questions.
I highly doubt these are questions Mueller wants Trump to answer.
The simplicity of the questions only puts this further into doubt.
