but your context is a lie. the grant is for "criminals" like drug users and new recreational pot laws are not retroactive.
It didn’t say anything specifically about drug users . Drug users in reality often commit many other crimes to get their drug fix . Theft , robbery etc .
The problem with this is that there's nothing that Garcetti offers that plenty of other Dems don't offer, and Garcetti's record will not play well. L.A. is a very unpopular city with the rest of the US or for that matter with the rest of the state, and Garcetti has not made it better and indeed has made it worse.
