LOL, no it's not. The entire developed world revolves around the United States.

The people who voted no in this poll: haven't you called cities in this country s**tholes? Don't lie. Or you're voting no because it's DJT? If Obama said this I'd defend him too. Same with Dubuya. Or if these countries aren't crapholes, then why don't many people leave to go there?
Norway: omg he's not talking about importing actual Norwegian policies into the gov't you fools. Just folks who are more likely to assimilate and contribute something of worth.

Trump's own mother had a "rags to riches" story. (Not something he boasts about as he does about his father's rise.) She was a young Scottish immigrant who came to this country as a poor "domestic" (housekeeper or servant) due, in part, to the intense poverty in her home village. And, reportedly, the social/family shame of that era of having a sister pregnant out of wedlock. But, of course, she was more "ivory" and not the "ebony" or in-between Trump disparages. Much closer to those Norwegians he hopes for.

And she had the opportunity (that word shows up in the Trump family a lot) to marry a millionaire. So, there's that, too.

There was no racism behind Trump’s comments but the Left views everything through race-colored lens so they find race even in comments that had to do with economics (successful versus failure) and not race.

And to answer the OP, YES what Trump said is true.

Also, it's known that Mexico has a country that has corrupt leaders (worse than ours) and has many in office in league with the drug cartels. Guatemala isn't that great either. They do have government healthcare, but it's not great, and I heard they discriminate against Mayans. El Salvador is also pretty sad.

Also, I looked up temporary protected status. Loads of countries are getting it from US. Tons of them had it for years (hardly temporary!) and everyone is now mad that Trump is saying that it's time to go back home.

Also, if you think sending them back home is bad, then, by that alone, you're admitting that he's RIGHT that their countries are craphole countries.
So are you a Trump apologist for his racist remarks?

When Europeans label Americans dumb, do you consider that racism?

Ireland - widespread famine

Italy - poverty

People immigrate primarily for 2 reasons
1.) They want better economic opportunities for themselves and their families
2.) They are escaping war/violence

If you are living the good life in Monaco, then you have no reason to emigrate to America.
If you are living under repression or in a terrible economy, you're going to emigrate.

What's the difference between an immigrant from Poland in 1918 vs an immigrant from Ghana in 2018? If both followed the law, respect American values, and work hard why can't both come here?
There was no welfare state back then.

+ the cultural differences between Americans and Poles vs Americans and Africans in general.
