Increasing the population is not the answer.

What happened to you liberals? Back in the 60s and 70s, your ilk was all about ZPG. Some liberals were so worried about overpopulating the earth that they chose not to have kids. Liberals once worried about the effect that overpopulation would have on the environment and whether or not there would be enough food to feed everybody.

Today's liberals have done a total 180 and are now cheering for overpopulation. It just boggles the mind. SMH.

Miller's presentation was great! There was no PC BS involved---is that what bothered you? Well, too darn bad
No one is cheering for overpopulation. Those are facts. So how will you handle the number of seniors in our country that will be drawing from a system that can't match those numbers.

1. Tell them we are reducing their SS/ Medicare. Sounds good if you aren't in that group. Which will vote out anyone proposing that.
2. Kill them off at a faster rate? Well if we get rid of Medicare that would work.

So yes as our population ages and we lack workers to feed and clothe our nation. What is your solution?

Acosta had nothing but his teeth and his hair left. Miller schools the duchess.

So, your answer is to continually increase population?

I guess **** the environment is the new leftist cry?

Adding 1 million extra people per annum to our population makes no sense at all.

All the liberals who are wringing their hands over global warming are the same ones cheering for 1 million or more people coming to this country per year.
Once again you miss facts.

1. That question was worldwide. Check that for the USA.
2. Secondly look up age pyramid. 2016 15% of US population over 65, 2021 17.9%

But hey keep it a liberal vs conservative question because that is simpler.

Ha! You mean to tell us that refugees don't collect welfare? Many times legal immigrants sponsor family members and swear that they will take care of them. Yet many of these people renege on that promise and their family members end up on welfare.

What you're advocating for is nothing but a Ponzi scheme --- Let in a million legal immigrants per year to pay into SS for the old folks. And when those millions get old, you'll be demanding we let in even more to pay for those people. You know what happens to all Ponzi schemes, don't you/

So the answer is to allow 1 million illiterate, unskilled and non-english speaking potential serfs into the country? How can that be better than having skilled and english speaking people who will BENEFIT the country immigrate here?

Don't worry, we will bring in millions more when the current ones hits 65.

Pretty soon, our environment will be completely destroyed.

And where in any of my posts did I suggest that?

My solution? Less legal immigration and no illegal immigration.

Your Ponzi scheme isn't going to work as all Ponzi schemes fail.

How did old folks fare before SS? Many kept working or their families took care of them.

You still believe that we have unlimited buildable land and potable water? Do you know that there are people on Indian reservations that have to have water trucked in for them? And even then, the water they get isn't enough.

And, yes, you are cheering for overpopulation.
