Unions go on strike together. They picket non union companies and they don't support non union workers. So what's your point?

Very well said!!! I agree with you 100%

What are you talking about? They support striking union workers. Why would a union even try to support a non-union worker? That doesn't make any sense.

You know, my father is retired military and doesn't support the War in Iraq though he does support the troops. He's not alone in feeling this way. There are a lot of retired military who feel this way, including people like Congressman Murtha.

You can't support the troops without supporting the mission, anything short of supporting the mission is not support.

Murtha has sold the military down the river. The troops are disgusted by his behavior.

This is baloney. It sounds like some sort of right-wing Rush Limbaugh group think argument. It's like the George Bush "You're either with us or against us" or "If you dont' support the war in Iraq, you're supporting the terrorists." I don't know why the Republican pundits refuses to see anything other than black/white anymore. There are shades of gray in almost everything.

You know, how can people say they support the troops when they keep electing people who keep cutting back veterans benefits? How can people say they support the military when there are so many homeless Vietnam veterans on the street? What kind of support is that? Shouldn't the current troops be asking American's "But will you still love me tomorrow?" when they get all this so-called "support"?

Yes, it's a one of the many benefits of the military. They let you make the choice...some corporations do the same thing. One earns the benefits by doing whatever is required. The risks are not hidden.

I have to disagree on the support issue here, you can support our troops without supporting the mission.

I'm ex-military and a Viet Nam veteran, I support our troops 100% where ever they may go, but I do not support the reason our troops were sent to Iraq.
