A prominent black pastor in Maryland is calling on the African-American community to "raise its voice" and declare that abortion is a "major crime."
Bishop Harry Jackson, Jr., of the High Impact Leadership Coalition is surprised more black Americans are not standing up against abortion when it affects their population disproportionately.

If he believes he is capable of declaring law I believe he is capable of paying taxes, I hope the IRS is looking into this.
So having an opinion that doesn't follow goosestep, er, I mean lockstep with the leftist agenda is now "declaring law." The fascism gets bolder every day.

Political entities get to decide what is or isn't a "crime". Crimes are determined by laws.
Religious entities get to decide (for their followers only) what is or isn't a sin.
A religous who exorts his followers to declare something is a "crime" is attempting to influence and/or create law. Not his job. If he had told them to declare that abortion is a "major sin", he would be within his realm.

It's called having an opinion. Fascism is getting bolder and bolder every day.

Facism? It's the NeoConfused BS that gets deeper everyday.
If the man uses the pulpit in an attempt to influence the law of the land he should be subject to the same taxes others are subject to, or he should keep his (currently) tax-free political opinions private.

No, it isn't just having an opinion. He has no ability to determine what is or isn't a crime. If he had said he thought it should be a major crime, that would be an opinion. He told his parishioners to declare it a "major crime". They have no right to determine what is or isn't a crime either.
The right loves the slippery slope concept. If this guy is able to convince his followers that they can decide abortion is a "major crime", the next step is that they can decide how that crime should be punished. Not a real crime, no real punishment.....do they then get to impose their own justice system for what they decide is a crime?
I'll sit up and take notice when any Bishop has the gumption to proclaim sexual abuse of children is a major crime.
Until they acknowledge that problem, they have no credibility or moral authority.
