It is every American's Second Amendment right to have a firearm disguised as a cell phone. After they complete that one, I suggest the company develop a junior model for the little gun-toting tykes.
How is this making people more of a target? If one is using it for self-defense and not just pulling it out in public I don't see any issues.
CEO Kirk Kjellberg said he got the idea for the gun at a restaurant, after getting his permit to carry -- and quickly realizing he'd like to be more concealed. "I walked towards the restroom and a little child, a boy about 7, saw me and said, 'Mommy, mommy, that guy's gotta gun,'" he said. "The whole restaurant of course turns and stares at you and I thought, 'There's just gotta be something better to do than this.'"
I actually like the idea. The gun is small enough, I would not even notice it on my hip. This is one thing I don't like about carrying a concealed weapon the bulky gun gets in my way and feels heavy on me. This is not an attractive gun, but I certainly see it being useful. Remember guns were not made for bad people, bad people use guns........
It's all about not scaring the children..........how many parents allow their young children to play video games with many guns and many bad people shooting guns and never explain to the kids what a gun is for.

The potential for this to lead to so many tragedies is unfathomable.
I only see an issue with the bad guy......is there something we are missing?
From Star Trek the original series "A Piece of the Action" , "Hey Boss where can we get some of these fancy heaters!" Who would have thunk it a communicator with a built in phaser.

Right because people arn't already getting shot for their cellphones being mistaken for guns. Been going on since the early 90's folks. Not to mention all the other crap that gets mistaken for a gun that will get you shot either because your stupid and don't follow commands or end up the victim of a Barney Fife.
Agreed, Bulldog. It happens already, so why not disguise guns in more everyday objects? Gun in a coffee mug? Great idea! Gun in a baseball cap? I like it! Of course a gun that looks like a Bible goes without say for all those pansy states that don't allow carrying into places of worship. More guns in more places equals more safety.

Oh, you're right of course. Never thought of the 'fact' that it was such a burden on you to 'conceal' your weapon, or to open carry where children might actually see your weapon and be rightfully scared. Never thought of how 'uncomfortable' you must be with a bulky fire arm.
Perhaps we can make guns that look like wallets, or car keys, or newspapers, or sunglasses....anything to ease your discomfort and make our world a safer place from crazies.
Whoa, is that a gun he's wearing???? Imogee threat!!!!!!
The Second Amendment was never intended for self-defense. It's being necessary to the security of a free State.
True. Now that we have an incredibly huge military.......
