It drives the warmers nuts because it's true.

It's just about the silliest statement anyone could make. So more likely it drives people to fits of laughter or cringing in embarrassment for anyone who uses it as an 'argument'

And if Al Gore was wrong then there was no point in wasting money in the first place.

Yes, we lost the battle.

All believers should simply commit suicide and get it over with.

It's the "tipping point", we will soon fall over the edge.

That day hasn't arrived yet.
Or more likely, some people will grow up and stop 'fearing' the boogie monsters living under their bed..

Algore was SINGULARLY responsible for promoting the fiasco.

The liberal media jumped all over it.

His book was "must" read.

Our great "scholars" DEMANDED his movie be shown in every public school on the country, brainwashing our youth.

Now that his prediction have NOT come true, as the rest of us knew it wouldn't, his disciples DENY he had anything to do with it.

Do you people EVER take responsibility for your actions and admit to ANYTHING?
Read up on the history of global warming...

In 1859 John Tyndall discovers that some gases block infrared radiation. He suggests that changes in the concentration of the gases could bring climate change.

1896
Arrhenius publishes first calculation of global warming from human emissions of CO2

1897
Chamberlin produces a model for global carbon exchange including feedbacks.
No mention of Al Gore.....

https://www.aip.org/history/climate/timeline.htm

CO2 is increasing.... Jan 2007... 378.95 ppm....Dec. 2015 ....402.56 ppm.

Temperature has risen 1 degree Celsius since 1880.

Arctic sea ice has been decreasing by 13.3% per decade since 1980.

Land ice in Antarctica has been decreasing by 134 billion metric tons per year since 2002.

Land ice in Greenland has been decreasing by 287 billion metric tons per year since 2002.

Sea level is rising at a rate of 3.39 mm per year.

These are the facts you are denying....Why?

Tempted not to respond to someone who quotes the corpulent, drug-addled Mr Limbaugh. He knows nothing about climate change (although he himself is a bag of hot air).

But Gore may have been right - we may have already passed the tipping point. Which is why I've been saying that we should stop arguing about global warming and start talking about how to adapt. For instance, not encourage development along the coasts where sea level rise is going to cause an increase in flooding, or in areas where drought is likely to worsen.

With all your 'scientific sounding data', there is no way to measure the effectiveness of current regulations and money spent, or how much more money will achieve a predetermined level of success. No measurement beyond theory and partial data that has yet to show cause and effect that eliminates historic variables.

Science requires measurement, without it, warmers just have a political agenda.

The earth and sun travel in an orbit around the milky way and it takes 226 million years to complete one cycle. If the yearly orbit around the sun causes periodic temerature changes and 'seasons', what periodic changes occur on earth as it circles the milky way? This is a whole new set of variables that are being ignored by warmers to further insulate their theory and ignore other variables that may impact conditions on earth.
Or we could look at measured, verifiable, and understood processes at work on our own planet. And do something about them.

To compound that problem, the rise in ocean temperature has melted a frost layer that has kept this gas trapped for eons. The amount of global methane leakage that's occuring is gargantuan!!! Even in the continental US, huge leaks are occurring in the central plains and California.
While methane is a concern, it is very important to understand that methane essentially cycles out of the atmosphere quickly--a ~12.5 year atmospheric lifetime, compared to CO2, which continues to impact the atmospheric greenhouse gases for 1000+ years.
