Yes, we are past the tipping point. People are missing the real issue. Methane heats up the atmosphere 20x more than CO2. It is being released at horrifying levels. To compound that problem, the rise in ocean temperature has melted a frost layer that has kept this gas trapped for eons. The amount of global methane leakage that's occuring is gargantuan!!! Even in the continental US, huge leaks are occurring in the central plains and California.
