Romeny didnt propose a solution either, just throwing bombs at Obama.

What should BushII or Obama have done to stop terrorism expansion in northwest Africa? Invade?

When I started paying attention I was not political, didn't lean Democrat or Republican so I listened to both. As I listened it became clear to me that Obama and the liberal media didn't make sense, even seemed crazy, I began to realize that Obama was not good for this country or the people. They were so out in left field that I voted for the first time Republican.

Government is corrupt but Obama was way worse!

Neither said what they intended to do.

Mali has been in the middle of conflicts since forever.

Should the US impose and occupy every country in the world that is in the midst of civil war and/ or border conflicts ?

I know, I know, Obama's plan was and is to attack republicans. That will fix the problem.

Oh, OK, then I guess Romneys plan was to spend $900million on losing an election. Or was it to continue the BushII plan...spend $2billion a week on a military exercise that will never be won and will never end?

As a legal immigrant I was unconsciously brainwashed by the various media outlets that my party is Democrat.

As I spent more years in US and started paying attention to the rhetoric and the pattern, it was clear to me as a patriot that loves his country, the Republican Party was my party.

I am ok with high or low tax, abortion or no abortion, gay weddings or not, everything is secondary, because having lived in a Muslim country I know that Islam is the biggest threat, everything else is meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

Instead of listening to conservative talking points, why not read/ listen to the full transcript of the Stephanopolis interview with Obama? If you did, it would become apparent that Obama was responding specifically to the geographical expansion of ISIL in Iraq and Syria.

The remark was conveniently taken out of context for political gain. All is fair in love, war and politics, eh.

Exactly. Republicans don't care about facts unless they can twist and edit them to fit their agenda of hate. This is a perfect example of them doing just that.

His remark has been taken out of context for political gain.

He was specifically referring to the expansion of ISIL in Syria and Iraq.

The discussion had nothing to do with global influence.

Read/ listen to the actual transcript. Ask yourself why some media and 2016 wannabes have chosen to edit the context of the discussion. Sounds like political propaganda to me.

Obama, like all presidents, has said some really goofy things and put his foot in his mouth. This was not one of those instances.
