They were talking about minimum wage, not everyone's wages. No amount of tax cutting is going to make earning $7.25 an hour equal to $15 an hour. Do the math. Now, saying that, raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour will result in a lot of part time jobs where there used to be full-time. Again, do the math.

And cutting taxes without cutting spending is partially the reason we're in this deficit mess to begin with.

Well we just might be having that. TPP allows new multinationals coming to the US to bring their own workers.

I think robots should replace coal miners. If a mine collapses, no one's going to a vigil for the robots.
