Considering that both his link and his OP are about the deficit, it is clear he does.

You however either dont understand the difference or are trying to overshadow the OP's point. Either way, the fault is on you.

Comments like this are why I lose faith in people in this nation having legitimate conversations across party lines.

Regardless of how you feel about President Obama's polices, you can not claim that they drove up the deficit, It has fallen every year of his administration except 2011, when it rose 130 billion, but then dropped below the 2010 deficit the following year.

We should be able to have honest discussions across party lines. Or is it that I have to much faith in the other side ?

President Obama essentially shrunk George Bush's debt by 1 Trillion. This is quite an accomplishment, considering that Republicans in Congress have been doing everything in their power to make him fail and obstruct. Just incredible.

Then he doesn't understand economics, and my sarcasm, because the puny attempts at shrinking the deficit have done nothing toward shrinking the national debt. And to give a shout out to something this inconsequential is ridiculous. However, as several people on this thread suffer from the same lack of understanding I am not surprised by your comment.

Correct! As far as creating aggregate demand is concerned, spending is spending, whether it is spent on cancer research, lap dancers, bombs or new cars. One dollar spent on any domestic good or service raises GDP by exactly $1.00, regardless of which good or service.

Money spent by government is just as good as money spent by private parties.

President Obama could poop out solid Gold bars to fill another Ft. Knox and the other side would accuse him of African witchcraft.

What else would explain pooping out solid gold bars?

President obama is the worst thing to happen to America in 100 years. Anyone who supports him and believes he is a good man who is trying to help America, is a fool.
