Clearly we must ban handguards and flash hiders on ar15s owned by middle class range jockeys to reducr gang related handgun violence!!!! Common sense people!!!
Pretty much. You never hear "four gang members shot in Chicago today" because those types of shootings would be in the news daily.
The gun problem in America isn't is bad as it seems. Fix the problems in inner city America and the gun problems will disappear.
Denial...... not healthy.
Your post is oxymoronic. You claim one thing then provide a qualifier that refutes it.
The gun problem currently making the news is not the inner-city gang shootings. How will the "publicly perceived" gun problem be solved if you eliminate that portion nobody shives-a-git about, or is even completely unaware of?

I mean that the gun problem that the public perceives is rather minor. We hear about mass shootings once or twice a year. Yet if the media covered gang shootings, it would be a several time per day occurrence.
I have a larger chance of dying from a bee sting, in a car crash, or from a bolt of lightning than being a victim of a mass shooting.
If the focus would shift on to gang shootings, maybe something could be done about the gun violence problem in America.
We have enough laws on the books. How about enforcing the ones we already have and stop allowing thugs to walk our streets.

People don't care if black people are getting murdered unless it is by a police officer or a white person.
It is very unfortunate.
