Its really getting lame here. Putin needs to stop the political bleeding in his homeland and has decided to use war. I would think he is trying to divert his population away from their problems.

There are enough nuclear weapons in the world to kill us all 2 or 3 times.

Had the Obama administration not engineered the coup in Ukraine, none of this would have happened.

And ~3,000 of those are ERWs....Enhanced Radiation Warheads.

You know, the "Nude Bomb" or wait, that's Neutron Bomb.

Max yield 10 kt. Many are gravity bombs (true gravity or guided munitions). MiG-23 carries two (one under each wing). MiG-29 carries 3 of them: two guided (under each wing), and a gravity on the center pylon. Su-24/25/30/34/39 can carry four each.

They have 10 kt SRBM warheads. They used to have a 1 kt warhead for their FROG system. FROG is free-rocket-over-ground. It's like a catapult with an engine and exhaust, only different. Those were "measures of last resort." Range is about 8 to 25 miles. In theory, you'd lob them at advancing armor to slow them down.

And then of course about couple hundred or so AFAPs for their 152mm tube artillery.

The US destroyed all of its neutrons, plus all tube artillery warheads on orders of Bush the Spy Chief back in the late 1980s early 1990s.

NATO should be practicing the funky chicken dance.

Tactically...

Mircea

First of all this isn't like the 1980's because Putin is a nut job and he has high approval rating in his country lot like 1930's Hitler his economy is heading down the tubes based on low oil prices. He wants to restore Russia to what it was before the wall fell same as Hitler did after WW1. Now he is talking about taking Baltic states back which are Nato what will Obama do? I think EU will not back a war with Russia using Nato Putin will cause trouble and Nato will evaporate. The biggest mistake that was made when the wall fell was to keep nato in place against Russia. Russia had Moderate people in charge like Yeltsin. US is thinking about putting Missile defense around Russia I would not trust that to work even though Russia has older ICBM's it would only take one modern 3rd generation war head to really do a lot of damage to the uS.

Then there is our Nuclear forces.
