Watch this excruciatingly amazing video of this painfully awesome new song by Birmingham's own The Man, featuring the silken-voiced Muse Of Ages on vocals, while marvelling at the intense majesty.

Why do I get the feeling that I'd regret clicking on that link?

EXCRUCIATING.

ex·cru·ci·at·ing (--āt′iŋ)

adjective

1. causing intense physical or mental pain; agonizing; stuff you probably won't like all that much; actually
worse than a double feature of Ishtar and Waterworld.

It won't kill ya or anything, but still...

The commentary is excruciatingly appreciated in spite of its myriad critical errors and flaws

You're a good sport, man.

OK, if I walked into a bar and heard this playing, I'd find it amusing / kitschy in a B52s kind of way. If the video was playing on a large screen I'd have to go outside for a while. Props, though, for snagging The Byrds' Eight Miles High ending - or at least attempting to.

Birmingham's own THE MAN has never heard that song although now that he listens to it the ending fast guitar pluckings do sound mildly similar... must be a victim of an inadvertent future parallel guitar solo. He sucks at guitar solos, here's an even better song with crazy scrolling words and another guitar solo.
