How does your average family guy out for a burger tell the difference? Will the camo give it away? Or the beer gut and grey beard? And which one looks like that again, the good guys or the bad guys? I guess the only sure way to know it is not the local NRA out for a day of 2nd Amendment brandishing is to wait to see if anyone is killed. Eventually guns are going to be taken away from everyone because of the few. You do understand that? It is a lesson from grade school.

Furthermore brandishing is not the same thing as open carry, carry a rifle slung, or a pistol holster is not brandishing.

Why should millions of people have their rights limited for the actions of a few people who are obeying the law?

I get it, you feel instead of thinking..that is ok, you dont want to own a firearm, fine, you dont want to carry it, fine..you have made you choice, we will make ours...Dont like it? leave.
If it was an ambush what could any patron with a concealed weapon or a long gun do anyway? If he openly carried his weapon he would have been shot first. If he had a concealed weapon, he would have been taken unawares and shot anyway.
Therefore, it seems to me, that neither concealed nor open carry are the panaceas to violent crime that some make them out to be. Perhaps we need another solution...

PS a CCW wounded one of the shooters in Wal Mart forcing the shooters to commit suicide instead of committing a mass shooting as they planned..

Two police officers are dead after being shot by a man and a woman who approached them as they ate lunch at a CiCi’s Pizza.
Witnesses told police one yelled “This is the start of a revolution” before shooting the officers. The shooters then stripped the officers of their weapons and ammunition and went into the Walmart at 201 North Nellis.
Witnesses at the scene reported hearing shots fired in quick succession inside the WalMart.
One unconfirmed report is that the two exchanged gunfire with a citizen who was carrying a concealed weapon. The man and woman then ordered everyone to leave and killed themselves in “some kind of suicide pact”
But...but...the only thing that could stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun!

Wrong. If more citizens with concealed weapons start putting the kibosh on these evil individuals, I might rethink my position on concealed weapons. However, I do want to know how these lunatics got these guns in the first place.

Even though the good guys (police) had guns, it didn't protect them from the bad guys with guns.
It's just more proof that guns are nothing more than tools to be used by people to complete a task. These police officers were both armed, neither of their guns jumped out of the holsters and shot a bunch of random people.
