this is going to get interesting. i am amazed that the 9th circus actually ruled in favor of looser concealed carry laws. if the scotus rules the same way, assuming they take the case, it will likely change every may issue state to a shall issue state.

That is good news for California LEGAL gun owners.
I don't want to see or hear about anyone being shot but where this country is heading more good people will be needing guns. Think about the high profile cases where a innocent person was shot, stabbed, beaten to death and the perp that did it gets all the press and sits on death row for 20 years while the dead victim is forgotten. It seems the criminal has more rights than the victim. It is getting so that shooting first then asking questions is the only way to survive.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this as to how long it will be tied up in courts.

Just one more level to go, and they may decide to not hear it. They already had their say when they issued a ruling in the D.C. case. If the state doesn't appeal, then it's a done deal. No word if the state will appeal to the big guys.

California's existing laws are incredibly restrictive. Considering the court's actions in Illinois - this decision is consistent. Hurray.

I would like to see a CCP issued in New Hampshire, or anywhere else, be recognized in all US Jurisdictions. After all we do not require special Auto Operators Licenses to drive in NYC or LA.
