In what fire and police chiefs are calling an "unfortunate incident," a firefighter tending to victims at a crash scene was handcuffed and put in the back of a squad car by a California Highway Patrol officer. As CBS8 cameras rolled, the police officer ordered the firefighter to move his truck out of the fast lane but he refused, said he would have to speak to his captain, and continued giving aid to the victims until the officer handcuffed him.
Well, it is very simple: DO WHAT THE COP TELLS YOU TO DO!
As everybody should know, a COP is always right!
Forget medical aid to victims, do as you are told!
right.
IMO, the cop should have been taken down into the barrow pit and whipped with a nightstick, then fired. He is too dumb to be a cop!
Power trip much? This cop needs a physical and verbal beat down to change his bad attitude. Perhaps a few months working as a firefighter would change his attitude
I know that there are still plenty of good cops out there, so I'm not going to hate on all of them. But why do we keep hearing more and more stories of cops acting like a bunch of thugs?
I remember a case like this not so long ago. Seems the firefighters block the road near the accident to protect the victims and and Ff from cars running up on the scene.

I disagree. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one. Clear the lane and get traffic rolling. Why tie up the whole world for one accident?

To prevent further accidents and deaths, duh! People working the scene of an accident need to be able to do so WITHOUT having to dodge vehicles going past them way too fast.
