That the man is technically incorrect is not really relevant. He says this gun can shoot 30 times real quick.
Is he wrong?
Would you want to use that weapon in an urban area? Would you use it to hunt deer?
Can we have more choices on your list of uses?
You are right that in the larger scheme of things the technical error is irrelevant, however, to keep his credibility he should at least pretend to be familiar with his subject. In business a mistake like that would cast doubt on the accuracy and thought you put into a project or process.
And to argue most of the audience is as uninformed of technical nuance as he, is like having a doctor tell you your prostratethingy is bad. Well yes I meant prostate...... but you know what I mean. Well no i never saw a prostate gland but I'll try to find a photo on the web before I do the surgery.
Steinberg (Sacramento) said that (the currently legal sporting rifles) are capable of "shooting 200 bullets at once" unlike handguns which shoot "1, 2, 3, 4..."
Never mind that legal semi automatic rifles have a maximum capacity of 10 rounds, and function exactly the same as a semi auto pistol - one trigger pull, one round.
But this is the inane argument used to pass the highly unconstitutional SB 374. This brilliant statement trumped his opponents (Both R and D) who brought up facts, logic, statistics and frankly how unconstitutional the law was.

So, yes he is wrong.
Carefully crafted lies to trick more fools into believing that it's possible to get machine guns in California at any gun counter.

Absolutely not. It would be unethical to hunt with such a small, underpowered round as the 2.223/5.56 on an animal as large as a deer. (And in fact, illegal in many places.) However, it would be useful on varmints... gophers, squirrels, coyote.
Called self preservation from liberal idiots handling something they know very little about. Its either that or I shoot in self defense. Which do you prefer?
If your trying to limit one's rights , then yes not being familiar with the topic makes you a fool.
