Again, why don't those in business in China selling to Americans just sell their wares to the Chinese there making a dollar a day?
I don't argue with your point, but please don't call it Chinese Junk. That is a type of ship.http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/308330/junk

My point still stands though if every poor person went to college or tech school there would not be enough jobs for all of them. Our economy is a pyramid with few jobs at top and many at the bottom there are not enough jobs for everyone to move up.

Yes, you can survive.....you just can't survive at the standard-of-living and life-style you think you are entitled to by god.

"Most Americans in favor of raising the minimum wage."

"Most Americans are hopelessly clueless in regards to basic economic principles."

I said yes because it's already about $8 where I am. A few more quarters won't make much difference except help the kid have some extra change to do laundry at the laundromat, have bus fare for the entire month instead of only half the month without having to ask to borrow, and maybe some leftovers to buy a pizza or finally afford to keep a Tracfone on without having to get it turned off every couple of months because of being short a few dollars. That's some difference.
