The President and his Sec of State are taking care of business here, showing great restraint while giving Iran a chance to take the high road. At least they were given a chance.

This development is ongoing. There was a time not long ago when Iran wouldn't come to the table. They certainly weren't willing to negotiate with the Neanderthal diplomacy that Bush represented.

I give Obama credit of joining a coalition of other nations and at least trying to come to some agreement instead of the rights war mongering. But lets look at reality, Israel wants Iran to completely stop their nuclear program. There is no half way where Iran can enrich uranium to certain levels under a watchful eye from the international community. The other reality is there can not be a deal under Israel's demands because AIPAC will grease the palms of our so called leaders and a bill will be dead on arrival.

Thanks for what? The United States put a little money into it but its all Israeli engineering. And ofcourse, the USA gets double the investment in return. You think the US gives away free money without getting anything in return? lol

Oh no the evil jews conspiracy theory AIPAC! Regarding AIPAC, you have a problem with there magical world dominating powers, complain to James Madison.

The West is not "trying" hard enough. Only Israel and apparently France see the threat of this deal with Iran. The West wants to resolve this issue step by step and Israel's position is that any deal will without regressing the nuclear program will allow them to make a nuclear bomb in a very short time. A nuclear Iran is a very bad deal.

Kind of funny that anyone running for POTUS makes sure to speak at AIPAC no matter which party they belong too. And you can not deny that AIPAC is not a powerful lobby.

What kind of deal is this for Iran? they will have to completely stop their nuclear program which they say is for peaceful purposes such as nuclear power. So there can be no half way under a watchful eye of the international community. And who gives a crap about what those fair weather friends the French have to say about anything.

Like I said the palms will be greased and this will go nowhere. Now if Iran had a lobby and greased some palms it could be close, see that is how we roll.

I cannot for the life of me understand people who give any credence whatsoever to anything Iran offers up by way of "negotiation" pertaining to nuclear energy and it's desire to obtain it.

Given the very same theological mindset is running the show there now that required you to negotiate for the release of over 50 of your citizens held hostage for well over a full year along with Iran's obfuscating behaviour in erecting it's nuclear program in the interim AND it's sponsorship of world terrorism; one would think you had learned all you need to know about Iran's silly claim "we want it for peaceful energy purposes only".

They want nuke weapons so they can stare you in the eye and state "assimilation is inevitable, resistance is futile". The proof has always been in the pudding to easily see. Shiite's meet Sunni's. When they sit down and discuss peace, maybe I'll believe whatever fairy-tale comes out of the middle east.

17,000 lobby groups in the USA and AIPAC is the strongest huh? Not the Arab oil lobby's, Gun lobby's, ect. What ever it is, James Madison Federalist #11 says otherwise.

You're very late in the ball game. There nuclear program is not for peaceful purposes, they are past that stage. They have already been cited for illegal nuclear research and violated countless UNSC resolutions and the NPT. So you don't care what France says about the matter yet you foolishly believe what the terror sponsor Mullah of Iran says about its already proven nuclear program?
