And you already see the excuses from his infatuated fan base...more loyal to their crush than what was good for the country.
Yep. All good things if he wouldve actually followed through. But of course, it was all BS from the get go. But its okay, hes Obama and the media and libs still have a love affair with him and he can do as he please in their eyes, no matter the harm to this country.

Obama indeed made the pledge on Feb. 23, 2009, following a "Fiscal Responsibility Summit" one month after his inauguration.

His words: "Today I am pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office.

I think many confuse deficit with debt. Deficit relates to the annual budget. He has cut the budget deficit, but not nearly by half.

Romney accurately nailed him on this during the debates.

How long should we put up with it? Is that not a big part of the issue with politicians? They need to be more held accountable for not just what they do in office, but basically lies.

And this isnt just one thing. Theres a long list. And some of these things, the media and liberals touted after he repeated them over and over. Yet say "oh well" when he fails to even try to deliver.

And they deserve to be criticized when they are dishonest.

Obama could fulfill posting all non-emergency bills online for 5 days before he signs them into law on his own without congress. He broke this on his very first bill and onward. He never intended to keep this promise. His campaign was a bunch of BS and it is up to us the people to demand our officials be honest. But too many of us are fawning over him to even dream of holding him accountable to his own words.

His campaign was like a job interview. He BSed his way through it, we should have held him accountable or fired him - voted him out. People that love the country and truly were inspired by his words and not his dreamy eyes need to stand up and demand integrity out of him.

Go through the CRs as they were passed the past years and demand both parties takeout earmarks, the public would be behind him, threaten a veto as promised until earmarks are reduced.

All good points. And hate to mention it, but Romney should have repeated all the blatent failed promises Obama gave, during the debates and in ads. Tons of material to chose from because its a laundry list and there's video of his promises that were broken.

But the media should be telling the American people all this as well. But of course, they wont. They dont hold liberals accountable. It doesnt matter what Obama said, he can do or say as he wishes.

You don't care about this country. You care about your party - your team, you care about Obama above the country.

You know that Obama could look at the CRs and demand that both parties remove waste and earmarks. The majority of the public would have cheered him on for fulfilling a campaign promise.

But it is okay that Obama chooses to break this promise....hurting the nation, because your emotional attachment to Obama is more important than the fiscal health of the nation.

Chant HOPE AND CHANGE and faint when Obama makes these promises and blasts Bush for using CRs in addition to the budgets Bush passed....ignore the fact that Obama couldn't even pass a budget and only used CRs when his party controlled both houses and earmarks increased.

You are why our country stinks...people refusing to hold their politicians accountable in both parties.

Deficits are down nowhere near in half and they are down in part because we have been creating $85,000,000,000.00 in new money a month.
