And you wonder why there's a wealth gap!
Yeah I find it frustrating that Obamabots rarely bring up the fact that Wall st has soared under Obama while the middle class has sputtered. He surrounded himself with Ex Wall St banksters such as Jack Lew.

Yet his followers rarely bring this up.

Hopefully, voters will start waking up, and stop letting themselves be duped by this Dem propaganda.
When Congress has the right to trade stocks with inside information while to the public that is a crime, you do the math.

They all are a sham.

Trying to start a new business is getting harder too.

A friend of mine and I developed a new business model. We did all our homework, made up buisness plans, projected profit loss statements, lined up customers, basically all we needed was some investment to fund the plan.

We had several investors look at our plan, and loved it. They were ready and willing to go last October. We were told straight out, as soon as the election is over we will start construction.

obama won, the investors evaporated. They kept their money in sheltered low intrest paying accounts that were safe from his confiscatory policies instead of investing the money that would have turned a nice profit, created several jobs, and increased the tax base in a depressed area.

We are still working on getting some more people involved, the ones now are looking for businesses that they can hide their profits from other investments in, again, to avoid the confiscatory taxes.

The only industries obama has helped are gun and ammunition manufacturers, and those that provide war materiels.

We are completely upside down in the way government views industry and jobs.

Perhaps we will find investors before obama leaves office, I hope so, but having been involved in this project and talking to people that actually invest in small business, I'm not holding my breath and the entire future looks bleak for the next 3 years at least.

How sad is that.

Income is the key word. Add the entitlements to the income of the poor.

Hilarious

You do realize, don't you, that Obama's policies (the ones that you support) are creating this situation?

1. incomes down 7%
2. savings down 40%
3. record numbers on food stamps
4. record number of citizens unemployed
5. record number of citizens under employed

The object of the liberals (and thus the democrat party) is to create more constituents (i.e. more poor people). This is described in the "Curly Effect", in which politicians will attempt to expand thier constituency by any means possible, even to the detriment of the nation. Witness Detroit and other urban areas controlled by democrats. Democrat loyalists, even when faced with failure of thier policies, will not and cannot accept that thier philosophy is flawed and ineffective at producing prosperity. They will always say that the principles of liberalism are perfectly sound, yet fail only due to:

obstruction by conservatives
policy initiatives not going "far enough"
"ignorance" among constituents

More government control and poor people- vote democrat
Less government control and fewer poor people- vote conservative

Now, in addition to higher taxes, we have the additional burden of Obamacare to bear. Only an idiot would assume that strapping a 50lb weight, that is higher taxes and Obamacare, to a sprinter would make him faster. But then again, we are talking about liberal logic, which is the language of nonsense.

I couldn't have said this better myself.

Interesting how people are dismissing this fact, though. Notwithstanding the OP's apparent disdain for Joe the Plumber...er...working stiffs who pay the bill, more than a little research will show that income is being redistributed through social programs that have exploded with Obama's administration. Also, doing one's own taxes (gasp!) is an eye-opening experience that enables us to see just how much that EITC is for filers and how it increases per child (with instructions to "attach paper" if the number of kids exceeds the tables). No wonder we see the proliferation of those additional tax-preparation offices promising to hand out thousands that very day. What used to be the dreaded "tax-due" day for working suckers , April 15, is now just another deadline by which moochers can high-tail it to any number of tax services that now double as veritable welfare satelllite offices.

I won't even get into the biggest redistribution scheme of all--Obamacare, which mandates participation by the healthy to further subsidize Peggy the Mooch (remember her?) and her ilk.

Wake up, sheeple.

did it ever occur to anyone that when you create a dependent class of people, IE the poor on welfare and food stamps, that the income gap is going to increase?

The rich will get richer in nearly any situation. How do you think they got rich in the first place?

I really don't care about the rich, they will take care of themselves. I worry far more about the plight of the middle class, which has continued to evaporate at an accelerated pace under Obummer, which in turn is swelling the ranks of the poor.

If the middle class is going to change classes, I'd prefer they go up, not down, wouldn't you?

He's now Jose the Plumber.

Socialism has worked exactly as intended. Thirty million illegals have a much higher standard of living at the expense of the rich, American middle class.
