Military enlisted men & women, are sworn to the Constitution. Many are torn up, that they may be sent to war without we the peoples, support.
There is talk of a substantial military personnel, leaving the military life, it Obama goes around congress, and personally declares war on Syria.
Congress should be held accountable as well. They are not voting with the will of the people.
This war vote is awfully close to the november elections. Lets vote them all out.

Agreed.
Our US Constitution did not put the authority to declare war, and to wage war into the hands of one single, solitary individual.
Recent polls now show over 50% of Americans support bombing Syria.
This after Kerry's whirlwind TV tour.
And only last week it was single digits approving bombing.
I've seen other polls though, not mainstream ones, that show less than 8% approve bombing.
Knowing about lies, damn lies and statistics I'm going to go with the 90%+ disapprove.
The USG is just lining up all their ducks of "justification" and approval by the American public before we go off to war for the next 10 years.

Gee that same sentence was used regarding the war with Iraq over 10 years ago.
And nothing changed.
We're right back where we were then doing the same thing.
Substitute Syria for Iraq and chemical weapons for WMDs.
Now the question remains..
Are we going to let the rebels torture Assad to death like Ghadaffi or capture him and put him on trial like Saddam ?
I will venture they will let the rebels have their way with Assad.
That absolutely should be the voting slogan of the citizens of this country. Vote every last one out of office regardless of how good or bad of a job they have done. Term limits is a concept that will never happen. These fools will never vote to end their cushy jobs. There needs to be a wake-up call sent to every single politicians at the federal level - they WORK for US. WE call the shots. Not them. The only way to make them listen is to start over. Newbies cannot possibly do a worse job than the motley crew of characters we have in office right now.
