I agree. Might not be anywhere near 8 figure though. Cheaper to let it go to court than pay that much. Instead, fight drag it out appeal, etc etc and starve George to death. Thats the way it usually works.

Oh, give me a break!

If a black man had gunned down an unarmed white teenager, all the people complaining about how the media needlessly "racialized" this case would be calling it an "anti-white hate crime." And they'd be demanding the death penalty. That is a FACT. What a bunch of self-serving racist hypocrites...

Are you sure?

I don't think any lawyer will take this case on as a contingency.

The NAACP has called on the Justice Department to file civil rights charges, and is asking the public to sign a petition.

I wonder if Zimmy still owes the attorneys he had for the trial.

All the more for the Martin family after they win their civil suit for wrongful death!

They shouldn't have aired it, but they will blame the Prosecution for not cleaning up what they had posted on the screen at the trial.

A HUGE leftist and Harvard Law Professor weighs in!

Quote:
Alan Dershowitz says the DOJ doesn’t normally investigate civil rights violations of one person to another because a single person cannot violate the civil rights of another unless they work for the local, state, or federal government.

So, he says, Zimmerman couldn’t have violated the civil rights of Trayvon Martin.

But he does agree that there should be a civil right violation investigation by the DOJ, but of Florida Prosecutor Angela Corey. He says by charing Zimmerman with 2nd degree murder and hiding from the judge the evidence that contradicted that charge, she violated George Zimmerman’s rights.

There’s much more:
BOOM! Alan Dershowitz says DOJ SHOULD investigate civil rights violations…of George Zimmerman by Angela Corey » The Right Scoop -

Default Zimmerman Goes On With Suing NBC

This will end up in a PP contest to see whose lawyers can pee the farthest. If I had to bet, I'd say NBC will settle out of court for a small sum. The lawyers will receive the lion's share.

Here's the beef chief:

Zimmerman was the only one with injuries.
Zimmerman answered all of the cops' questions.
Zimmerman passed a lie detector test.
The witnesses corroborates GZ statement.
The cops believed that Zimmerman was truthful.
The state circumvented the grand jury.
The state withheld evidence.
The state fired the whistle blower.
