My parents are heterosexual, yet I'm not. I do have to say that their lifestyle did rub off though. I love gardening like my mother, and tinkering like my father.

I guess I'm more of an adult than you if you can't handle people being different from you though. That's a big part of maturity.

I'm trying to find the part of the dress code that bans makeup on boys. It doesn't seem to say anything about makeup for either gender.

Tons of guys wear/have worn makeup of all sorts. I swear the guys my daughter went to HS with used more eyeliner than she did and don't get me started on the Marilyn Manson fans...and schools have been dealing with it forever, using whatever rules or methods they choose.

The lesbian parent is right, it's not a big deal. But their stupid petition making this a "gender identity" issue is.

Actors on both stage and screen wear makeup. If you saw a stage actor, or actress, up close and personal after a performance, most people would be shocked at how much makeup they have on. It's so the audience can see their faces better from a distance.

This isn't a conservative/liberal issue. It's a dress code, not religious suppression. Bt your analogy the validictorian should have been sent home until be stopped believing in God. How rediculous can progressives become in their quest to deprive themselves of all reason?

Geez
Don't be absurd. I'm talking about breaking rules. Nobody said the kid should stop believing in God. The rules stated that his speech had to be approved prior to giving it. He tore that speech up and launched into the Lord's Prayer. That was against the rules. The same people who are vilifying the kid wearing makeup for breaking the rules were cheering the valedictorian on with "Atta boys" and "Good for him!"
How ridiculous can the conservatives be in their quest for hyperbole?
